Deliver the customers.
Keep the spam.
spamex gives every form submission a verdict and a reason before it reaches an inbox. Built for form platforms and the developers behind them. No CAPTCHA for anyone.
A filter you can show your customers.
Every verdict comes with reason codes, every mistake can be undone with one click, and nothing in your visitors' messages needs to be stored to make it work.
Stable codes you can branch on and wording you can display: "hidden field was filled in", "same message sent to other sites this week", "looks like a cold pitch".
Rules and a small model settle 95 % of submissions instantly. Only the genuinely ambiguous few get a second opinion from a language model, and fast mode never waits on it.
Messages are stored as fingerprints, senders as hashes. Full storage is opt-in per form and deletable with one request. A sentence you can copy into your own policy.
One key per customer form. One roll-up for you.
Your platform key creates a key for each form with a single call. Each gets its own settings, quota, usage and memory of what that customer marked legitimate, so customers never affect each other. One usage endpoint feeds your billing.
- Create, rotate and revoke keys from your own admin
- Per-form quota, locale, honeypot field and site description
- Data-processing agreement and volume pricing
Reasons your customers can read. A button that fixes mistakes.
Put spam in a filtered tab with the reason underneath and wire "Not spam" to one feedback call. The message is delivered, the sender gets a good mark for that form, and your support inbox gets quieter.
All reason codes →One request. Any language. Done in an afternoon.
Send the submission and the visitor's IP from your backend. Back comes a word, a score and the reasons. Drop-in handlers for Node, PHP, WordPress and Python. Your form stays yours; spamex never touches the page.
Pay for checks. Nothing else.
Every plan gets every reason code, feedback and the same accuracy. Billed by card, monthly or yearly with two months free.

We run a form service with thousands of customer forms. How does that work?+
You hold one platform key and create a key per customer form with one API call. Each gets its own settings, quota, usage and memory of what that customer marked legitimate, so customers never affect each other. One usage endpoint gives you the per-form roll-up for your own billing. The platform guide walks through it.
Will it block real messages?+
Rarely, and never silently if you follow the setup we recommend: messages spamex is sure about are dropped or delivered, messages it is less sure about go to a review folder. In testing, 99 out of 100 messages it called spam really were, and 99 out of 100 real messages went straight through. When it is wrong, one click tells it so and it will not repeat the mistake for that form.
Can we show the reasons to our own customers?+
Yes, that is the point. Every verdict carries reason codes with plain wording you can display: "hidden field was filled in", "same message sent to other sites this week", "looks like a cold pitch". Wire your "not spam" button to the feedback endpoint and your customers get the one control that stops them emailing your support.
How much latency does it add?+
About a millisecond for most submissions. The few that need a second opinion take up to three seconds. On paths that answer the visitor's browser, use fast mode: it never waits, and you re-check only the flagged few from a queue.
Do visitors have to solve a CAPTCHA?+
No. Nothing changes for the person filling in the form. If your form already has a hidden trap field or records how fast it was filled in, send those along and they count too.
What happens to the messages?+
By default spamex keeps a fingerprint of each message, not the text, plus the verdict; sender details are hashed. Full storage is opt-in per form, and any record can be deleted with one request. We never sell or share submissions, and we sign a data-processing agreement with platforms.
What does it cost?+
Free for 1,000 checks a month. Pro is $19 a month for 25,000 checks and unlimited keys. Platform is $99 for 500,000 checks with the platform API, Scale $299 for two million. Billed by card, monthly or yearly.
