Changelog

What changed in the API, newest first. Fields and codes are only ever added; removals get a new major version.

API 1.0. The first public version.

  • POST /v1/classify with mode: "fast" for latency-sensitive paths; gray-zone cases come back with LLM_SKIPPED and ML_GRAY_FALLBACK.
  • POST /v1/feedback/batch for bulk corrections, up to 100 per call.
  • Platform API: POST, GET, PATCH, DELETE /v1/partner/keys, POST /v1/partner/keys/{id}/rotate and GET /v1/partner/usage. PATCH is a partial update.
  • Sender reputation for IP, email and email domain, with IP_REPUTATION_BAD, EMAIL_REPUTATION_BAD, EMAIL_DOMAIN_REPUTATION_BAD and EMAIL_REPUTATION_GOOD.
  • DELETE /v1/submissions/{id} for data-deletion requests.
  • GET /health reports only status on the public endpoint.
  • The documentation is published as plain markdown at spamex.dev/llms.txt and /llms-full.txt for coding agents.

Compatibility promise

  • Response fields, reason codes and endpoints are added, never renamed or removed, within a major version.
  • New reason codes may appear at any time. Treat unknown codes as soft signals and never fail on one.
  • Unknown request fields are ignored, except a key’s configured honeypot field.
  • Breaking changes ship as a new base path (/v2/) with at least six months of overlap.
